When importing Excel templates with the Data Management module in Dynamics 365 F&O, you can get the following error:
The data value violates integrity constraints
The issue may be an error in your data, for example mandatory fields are not set, or there are duplicate values, but in our case the cause was different.
Although the Excel file only contained 68 lines, somehow there were empty lines after the data that Dynamics still tried to import.
We selected these lines and removed them, as you can see in the screenshot below. After this step the error was solved.
